"Adirondack Song" Performances

     Original musical compositions that connect Local Adirondack history with New York State Curriculum.

     Take a trip with Singer/Songwriter Brian Chevalier through the history and folklore of our beautiful region with his original music. This performance is also available with a striking slide presentation. A study guide is available upon request.

​

     Adirondack Song is a performance of songs inspired by the folklore and history of the Adirondack Region. This performance is supported by a slide presentation that allows students to see some of the characters and land that have inspired Brian.

​

Many schools have chosen one of the following residencies or workshops to support this performance:

​

1. The Roaming Hermit: Students interview Brian in character as Noah John Rondeau, The Adirondack Hermit and ask questions about The Adirondacks.

2. Meet the songwriter: Students listen for content to Brian’s music on compact disc in preparation for their workshop with Brian, where they interview Brian as he presents his interactive workshop called “Meet The Songwriter”.

3. Songwriting residency

 

Adirondack song is a Journey With Music Into The Spirit Of Our Mountains. It consists of original Musical Compositions That Connect Local Adirondack History With New York State Curriculum. This show also features a slide show prentation.
